Terms & Conditions for Legacy Rehab and Performance

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our website, purchasing any product, scheduling any appointment, joining the Legaski Club (Free or Pro), or working with Greg (“The Ski PT”) or Dr. Sarah (“The Hip Doc”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

If you do not agree with these terms, please discontinue use of our services.

2. Service Provided

Legacy Rehab and Performance provides a combination of physical therapy, rehab coaching, fitness training, injury prevention education, and online programs. All services are offered by Greg Louie (“The Ski PT”) and Dr. Sarah (“The Hip Doc”), both independently and collectively under Legacy Rehab and Performance.

2.1 Physical Therapy Services

A. Physical Therapy Services (Greg – The Ski PT)

Greg provides physical therapy services in accordance with Washington State physical therapy laws and professional practice standards. These clinical services may include:

  • Clinical evaluation and assessment of musculoskeletal conditions

  • Diagnosis of movement impairments when appropriate under Washington State law

  • Evidence-based physical therapy treatment plans

  • Orthopedic rehabilitation for lower extremity, spine, and sports-related injuries

  • Ski-specific rehabilitation for return to snow

  • Post-injury and post-surgical rehab

  • Movement analysis and corrective strategies

  • Strength, mobility, and neuromuscular re-education within a clinical plan of care

  • Performance-based PT progression supporting return to sport

  • Education on injury management, load progression, and tissue healing

  • Virtual or in-person PT services depending on client location and legal requirements

PT Legal Requirements:

  • Greg may only provide physical therapy to clients physically located in Washington State or any other state where he holds an active PT license.

  • All PT care requires clinical intake, documentation, and follows state practice laws.

  • Telehealth PT is subject to the same legal regulations as in-person care.

Physical therapy is a medical service and includes clinical judgment and medical decision-making. It is distinct from coaching.

B. Physical Therapy Services (Dr. Sarah – The Hip Doc)

Dr. Sarah provides physical therapy services aligned with Washington State PT practice regulations. These may include:

  • Clinical evaluation and diagnosis when appropriate

  • Hip-focused orthopedic rehabilitation

  • Running injury treatment and return-to-run programming

  • Movement analysis and corrective interventions

  • Strength, stability, and mobility training as part of a clinical plan of care

  • Education on injury mechanisms and recovery

  • Virtual or in-person care depending on legal and clinical considerations

PT Legal Requirements:

  • Dr. Sarah may only provide physical therapy to clients physically located in states where she is licensed at the time of service.

  • All PT services follow intake, documentation, and compliance procedures.

  • Virtual physical therapy is considered clinical treatment and follows state telehealth regulations.

Physical therapy services are distinct from non-clinical coaching and include medical decision-making.

2.2 Non-Clinical Coaching & Performance Services

A. Non-Clinical Ski Rehab & Performance Coaching (Greg – The Ski PT)

These non-medical services focus on education, performance, biomechanics, and injury prevention for skiers. They may include:

  • Ski-specific strength and conditioning programs

  • Mobility and flexibility training for skiing

  • Movement analysis and ski biomechanics coaching

  • Dryland assessments and technique-based training

  • Return-to-snow performance coaching

  • Educational dryland training plans

  • Strength, power, agility, and endurance programming

  • Group coaching inside the Legaski Club (Free and Pro)

  • Online programs, workshops, courses, and masterclasses

Non-clinical coaching is NOT physical therapy.

It does not include:

  • Clinical evaluation

  • Medical diagnosis

  • Treatment of injury

  • Rehabilitation defined by state PT acts

  • Medical decision-making

Clients engaging in coaching understand it is educational and performance-based.

B. Non-Clinical Rehab & Running Coaching (Dr. Sarah – The Hip Doc)

These non-medical coaching services focus on hip performance, running technique, and injury prevention. They may include:

  • Hip strength and mobility coaching

  • Running technique and form coaching

  • Educational training plans

  • Strength, stability, and mobility training

  • Guidance for reducing injury risk

  • Group coaching and online programs

  • Workshops focused on hip function and running performance

Rehab coaching is NOT physical therapy.

It does not include diagnosis, treatment, or clinical decision-making.

3. Scope of Practice Disclaimer (PT vs. Coaching)

To ensure clarity and legal compliance:

1. Clinical physical therapy is only provided within the practitioner’s legal scope and requires appropriate intake, evaluation, and documentation.

2. Rehab coaching is NOT medical care. Coaching does not diagnose, treat, or manage medical conditions.

3. A client receiving coaching understands that:

  • No clinical diagnosis is being made

  • No medical treatment is being provided

  • Programs are for education, fitness, and performance only

4. Virtual PT is only provided to clients located in approved jurisdictions at the time of service.

5. Clients must consult a physician before beginning any training or rehab program if they have medical concerns.

Your participation is voluntary and at your own risk.

4.User Responsibilities

To ensure clarity and legal compliance:

  • Provide accurate information during scheduling or purchasing

  • Participate safely within your physical limits

  • Follow medical advice given by your healthcare providers

  • Not misuse our website or content

  • Not share or distribute proprietary material

Failure to adhere to these responsibilities may result in revoked access or termination of services.

5. Payment Terms & Subscriptions

By purchasing any product or service, you agree to:

  • Provide a valid payment method

  • Authorize charges for services rendered

  • Accept automatic renewal for subscription services (Legaski Club Pro, programs, etc.) unless canceled prior to renewal

  • Abide by refund or cancellation policies displayed at checkout

Digital products are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

6. Legaski Club Terms (Free and Pro)

By joining the Legaski Club, you understand and agree:

  • Community guidelines must be followed

  • Access may be revoked for inappropriate behavior

  • Free membership includes limited access; Pro membership includes expanded resources

  • Pro membership bills automatically unless canceled

  • Coaching provided inside the Club is non-clinical and educational

Legacy Rehab and Performance is not liable for actions or outcomes based on community discussions

7. SMS/Text Messaging Terms (A2P Compliant)

By opting into SMS communications, providing your phone number, or interacting with any of our forms, you consent to receive text messages from:

  • Message frequency varies

  • Message and data rates may apply

  • You may opt out anytime by replying STOP

  • Reply HELP for customer assistance

We collect phone numbers solely for service delivery, coaching updates, reminders, and promotional communication. We never sell or share phone numbers for marketing purposes.

This consent meets TCPA and CTIA requirements for messaging.

8. Intellectual Property

All content produced by Legacy Rehab and Performance—including training programs, videos, PDFs, assessments, workshop materials, graphics, and written content—is protected under copyright law.

Users may not:

  • Copy

  • Reproduce

  • Resell

  • Distribute

  • Share paid materials outside their personal use

Violation may result in legal action.

9. Limitation of Liability

By participating in any physical activity, exercise program, rehab program, coaching service, or physical therapy session through Legacy Rehab and Performance, you acknowledge and agree:

  • All physical activity carries inherent risk

  • You assume full responsibility for your participation

  • Legacy Rehab and Performance is not liable for injuries, damages, or losses arising from use of our programs or services

  • Results vary based on individual factors No guarantees of performance or recovery outcomes are made

You agree to use discretion and seek medical clearance when appropriate

10. Cancellation, Refunds & Missed Appointments

Policies are displayed at the point of purchase. Unless otherwise stated:

  • Digital products are non-refundable

  • Subscription services renew automatically and are not prorated upon cancellation

  • Coaching or PT appointments must be canceled or rescheduled according to the cancellation policy provided at booking

  • Missed appointments may be charged the full rate

11. Modifications to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
