Most physical therapists do not ski and do not understand ski specific return-to-ski rehab. I am a skier and a physical therapist who works exclusively with skiers year round because getting back to skiing does not start when the lifts open.
Traditional rehab often leaves you guessing how to get back to the slopes. The Return to S.N.O.W. Program is a proven system adapted from the same methods I use with U.S. Ski Team skiers.
Instead of guessing or relying on generic timelines for when you're ready to get back to skiing, The S.N.O.W Method use assessments, movement analysis, and coaching feedback to progress your back to snow as quickly, efficiently, and safely as possible.
This program is designed and coached by Greg Louie (The Ski PT), a Volunteer Physical Therapist for the U.S. Ski Team.
That means the same principles used to keep elite skiers healthy and performing at a high level are applied—without requiring you to train like a pro athlete.

We meet virtually on zoom and start with an assessment to identify where traditional rehab left off and where we need to keep the momentum going to get you back to the slopes (this is the S - Set The Foundation stage). From here, we correct asymmetries and transform your body to be physically and mentally ready for any of the objects the mountain throws your way
- You won’t be guessing whether this is working.
- We start with a movement assessment so we know exactly where you’re starting and we measure mobility, strength, and coordination.
- From there, we retest key movements throughout the program and use video comparisons so you can clearly see how your body is changing over time.
Because the Legaski SNOW Systems customized to fit your needs and goals, it can be programmed for training at the gym, training at home, or a combination of both!
- Once you complete the SNOW Program, you can continue working with Greg through the Legaski Club Alumni Program—a private coaching option reserved exclusively for SNOW graduates.
