  • Most physical therapists do not ski and do not understand ski specific return-to-ski rehab. I am a skier and a physical therapist who works exclusively with skiers year round because getting back to skiing does not start when the lifts open.

  • Traditional rehab often leaves you guessing how to get back to the slopes. The Return to S.N.O.W. Program is a proven system adapted from the same methods I use with U.S. Ski Team skiers.

Built By A U.S. Ski Team Physical Therapist

  • This program is designed and coached by Greg Louie (The Ski PT), a Volunteer Physical Therapist for the U.S. Ski Team.

  • That means the same principles used to keep elite skiers healthy and performing at a high level are applied—without requiring you to train like a pro athlete.

The S.N.O.W. Curriculum

(S)et The Foundation (Weeks 0 to 4)

  • Pick up where traditional therapy left off and make sure you've done the basics in standard rehab to get back to baseline.

(N)ormalize Asymmetries (Weeks 4 to 12)

  • Address side-to-side imbalances so you can regain trust of the injured body part and know that it'll hold up on the mountain when you need it to

(O)ptimize Capacity (Weeks 12 to 18)

  • Rebuild the endurance it takes to ski a whole day on the mountain without gassing out and risking reinjury.

(W)ire For The Mountain (Weeks 18 to 24)

  • Incorporate ski specific training (both mental and physical) so you're not just prepped for the mountain, but ideally in a position to ski even stronger than before your injury

Do I take insurance?

If your HSA covers coaching services (like that of a personal trainer) then yes, you can use your HSA

How does the program work?

We meet virtually on zoom and start with an assessment to identify where traditional rehab left off and where we need to keep the momentum going to get you back to the slopes (this is the S - Set The Foundation stage). From here, we correct asymmetries and transform your body to be physically and mentally ready for any of the objects the mountain throws your way

How Is Progress Tracked?

- You won’t be guessing whether this is working.

- We start with a movement assessment so we know exactly where you’re starting and we measure mobility, strength, and coordination.

- From there, we retest key movements throughout the program and use video comparisons so you can clearly see how your body is changing over time.

What equipment do I need for this program?

Because the Legaski SNOW Systems customized to fit your needs and goals, it can be programmed for training at the gym, training at home, or a combination of both!

What happens after the 6-months?

- Once you complete the SNOW Program, you can continue working with Greg through the Legaski Club Alumni Program—a private coaching option reserved exclusively for SNOW graduates.

- It’s designed for skiers who want ongoing guidance, seasonal adjustments, and long-term progress without losing momentum.
